She has appeared at numerous events, including:  The Doobie Brothers Charity Concert, Silverado Vineyards, Louisiana Road Food Show, State of Louisiana Book Fair, Jazz Fest, Southern Food and Beverage Museum, Louisiana Office of Tourism’s Trade Luncheon, NFL’s Europe Game (Saints vs. Chargers), and at the Preservation Resource Center’s Holiday Home Tour Marketplace.

She has over a quarter-century of experience in executive sales management for a number of cosmetics and fragrance companies, including The Elizabeth Arden Company. She helped develop and launch Elizabeth Taylor’s fragrance collection, including Passion and White Diamonds.  Pamela was named Manager of the Year at Charles of the Ritz Group.

For the past several years, Pamela has developed Lyles Ventures, LLC, a company that specializes in book publishing and entertainment.

Pamela is active in her community. She is currently on the Board of Directors of The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation and participates with Malcolm Jenkins, a Superbowl 44 New Orleans Saint and Pro - Bowl Philadelphia Eagle, in community activities in both New Orleans and Philadelphia. She participates in other foundations as pro bowl Safety , Roman Harper's Harper's Hope Foundation, FOX sports reporter, Jen Hale's Sideline Pass Foundation, and Kendal Francis' Blessed 26 Organization. She has volunteered at Touro Hospital, Temple Sinai Sisterhood, and her high school alumni board. For the past 16 years she has served the National Council of Jewish Women and previously held the position of president for two years. She served on the New Orleans Saints executive fan board (1 of 5 women selected).  Pamela also volunteered at NBC-TV affiliate WDSU to help resolve consumer complaints for “6 On Your Side.”

She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from University of Texas.  Pamela resides in New Orleans, Louisiana. 

Pamela D. Lyles is the author of Da Cajn Critter:  The Lifestyles, The Rules, and Makin’ Groceries.  A certified product of Louisiana, it won “Best Books” at the USA Book News Awards in the Home Entertaining category. 

She’s been cooking and creating tasty, soulful food in the kitchen since she was a little girl. Growing up in New Orleans, she observed the magic in her own family’s kitchen and her grandmother’s kitchen. Reading her book provides a feeling of sitting in a comfortable chair at her family table.  Her book melds family recipes (she calls some of them heirlooms) and childhood memories into a 185-recipe catalog of some of the best southern fare ever created.
